The White Horse is the perfect place to host every occasion, be it an anniversary dinner in the restaurant or Birthday drinks in the public bar, with friends, family or colleagues our pub is the spot on for any type of toast-able occasion.

In addition to our perfect-for-a-pint pub (which is glorious for a Sunday roast too) we have more than a handful of fantastic bookable spaces – all cosy and intimate. We have the perfect event space in our beautiful pub for you to play host for your next ‘big thing.’

Attended the Game Night dinner and it exceeded expectations – 6 course tasting menu including duck, venison, pigeon with 2 additional courses provided. Drinks included to match the food. Excellent evening, great food, customer service by Tom and the team was spot on, would recommend.

We have visited the White Horse a couple of times recently. The first was before Christmas for a Friday night dinner for two. My husband and I were really impressed by the quality and value of the food (we had the tasting menu) and also by the lovely décor in particular in the main restaurant, which I understand has been refurbished relatively recently. In fact, we were so impressed that we subsequently decided to hold our wedding reception there this February.  The place is so lovely that we didn’t even feel the need to decorate! We had fantastic feedback from our guests, praising the quality of the food and the attentiveness of the staff. Again we had the tasting menu, as well as some lovely canapés, and it was all delicious and frankly I would say very good value for money.

Do you have a car park?

Absolutely.

We do have a large car park behind the pub.

How do I secure a booking?

It’s easy-peasy.

To secure your booking we just need a deposit of £10 per person. This deposit is fully refundable up to 24 hours prior to the booking.

Are you dog friendly?

We are dog friendly throughout the pub. We just ask that all four-legged friends are kept on a lead at all times.

Do you require a pre-order?

Yes, we do require pre-orders 14 days before your booking date. Please do include any dietary requirements in your pre-order so we can ensure swift and easy service.
